National Aquatic Rescue Institute provides specialized aquatic rescue training for first responders and public safety professionals. Our courses are designed around NFPA job performance requirements and prepare responders to safely and effectively operate during emergencies in and around the water.
Effective water rescue requires more than completing a skill sheet. NARI training combines technical rescue skills, watermanship, risk assessment, rescue systems, and realistic scenarios to develop responders who can apply those skills in a dynamic aquatic environments.
NARI's Surface Water & Surf Rescue program provides progressive training at the Awareness, Operations, and Technician levels. Courses address the knowledge, skills and abilities required for organized response to surface-water and surf rescue incidents.
